Dear Customers,
In 2008 we sent out letters to inform you of potential problems you may experience if you wish to have your digital prints laminated. This letter is a reminder of those issues. Due to some of the components in the toner of digital ink, our lamination may not successfully adhere to your prints. We carry a film specifically made for digital prints, called Super Stick. While have had great success with this product, there are still some prints that may not stick, not even with our new film, Super Stick. Because of this, we will not be able to guarantee any lamination over digital prints.
We are asking that any jobs that are digitally printed, be tested before the entire job is ran. Testing will consist of having all samples finished to final product. This specifically speaks of any die cutting, tabbing, slotting, round cornering, scoring and so on. Anything that is to be done to the print after lamination must be checked before the entire job is run. In an effort to help resolve this, we will not be charging for any “sample testing”.
We apologize if this causes any inconveniences and hope that this will prevent any losses on both our parts. Please keep this letter and refer to it when you are considering lamination on any digital prints. If you have any questions please call us at 407-830-6968.
Thank You,
